HERE SOME REASONS WHY YOU ARE GOING TO ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY SHOP AT THE CLUB DE VUELA PUERTO DE ANDRATX, a historic centre of luxury, once home to King Jaime I. RELAX IN THE MUD BATHS on Isla Espalmador before walking down the beach for a refreshing dip in the sea. INDULGE IN A DINNER OF SOBRASSADA, a local pork sausage made with paprika and, sometimes, a dash of cayenne pepper. CRUISE THROUGH THE TORRENTE DE PAREIS, (“The Twin Streams”), where cliffs tower above the water in fantastic grandeur. DANCE UNTIL DAWN at the cosmopolitan nightclubs on Ibiza or in Palma de Mallorca, where the party continues all summer. DAY 1 IBIZA ARRIVE IN IBIZA You can step aboard and cruise immediately, but we recommend taking this day to explore Ibiza’s old town, which includes a historic cathedral and archaeological museum. The citadel walls date back to the 16th century, and lots of interesting restaurants and shops await within the maze of stone alleyways. Some of the world’s best nightclubs are here, coming to life after dinnertime and continuing into dawn. DAY 2 IBIZA > ENSENADA DE LA CANAL 12 km - 7 miles (average distance) RELAXING BEACHES Sleep late while your charter yacht sets a course for Ensenada de la Canal and a leisurely afternoon on the sandy white beach. The entire day can be spent here, relaxing in the sun or sipping cocktails at the beach bars. A short cruise away is Formentera, a great place to anchor just before dinner aboard with unspoiled scenery as the sun goes down. DAY 3 ENSENADA DE LA CANAL > FORMENTERA 14,5 km - 9 miles (average distance) MUD BATHS AND MORE Your charter yacht’s anchorage will be close enough for an energetic swim (or an easy tender ride) ashore, where you’ll find nude sunbathing at Playa de Mitjorn. After lunch, cruise to Playa Espalmador for a soak in the natural mud baths, which are within walking distance of the beach and a refreshing swim in the seawater. Dine aboard with gourmet cuisine by candlelight. DAY 4 ISLA DE FORMENTERA > PUERTO ANDRATX 130 km - 80.8 miles (average distance) Andratx is a spot on Mallorca that popular tourism has yet to discover. Long a haven for the wealthy, Andratx was once home to King Jaime I and was a summer getaway for the Bishop of Barcelona. Step into the boutiques near the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, and then walk to gourmet restaurants offering views of yachts at anchor in the bay. DAY 5 PUERTO ANDRATX > ISLA DE DRAGONERA 8.5 km - 5.3 miles (average distance) UNMATCHED SCENERY Cruise through the Balearic Isles’ most memorable scenery. The island of Dragonera takes its name from the shape of its mountain range, while Cala de la Calobra is a cove surrounded by tall, rocky cliffs. The Torrente de Pareis (“The Twin Streams”) are one of Mallorca’s grandest sights, while Soller is a port within a bay surrounded by hills covered in golden orange groves. DAY 6 ISLA DE DRAGONERA > PUERTO POLLENCA 110 km - 68.3 miles (average distance) ARTISTIC HAVEN Enjoy a swim into the sea cave at Cala Vall de Boca, where the phosphorescence glows inside a towering cavern. Then cruise to Puerto Pollenca on Mallorca’s northeast coast. In the early 1900s, artists flocked here - and the landscape is just as beautiful today, with steep mountains meeting sunny shores lined with dark green pine trees, gray limestone rocks and, of course, deep blue waters. DAY 7 PUERTO POLLENCA > CALA MOLTO & RATJADA 52.5 km - 32.6 miles (average distance) SUPERIOR SNORKELING Cala Molto offers some of the best snorkeling in the Balearic Isles, along with a chance for anyone who wants to stay dry to enjoy the scenery all around while relaxing on board. Nearby is Cala Ratjada (“The Bay of Rays”) with access to the old town ashore. Its history whispers throughout the architecture, while modern fun beckons in the bars, nightclubs and restaurants. DAY 8 PUERTO POLLENCA > CALA D’OR 46.5 km - 28.9 miles (average distance) GOURMET DINING ASHORE While gourmet dining will be available during every meal on your charter yacht, it’s nice to go ashore for an evening, and there is no better place than Cala d’Or: home to the world-famous Cala Vista Restaurant at the yacht club. Its Michelin-rated cuisine is among the best in Europe, and reservations can be made in advance, during the earliest planning stages of your itinerary. A DAY OF PLAY DAY 9 CALA D’OR > PLAYA DEL TRENCH 37 km - 23 miles (average distance) Playa del Trench is an ideal location for a last full day of fun in the sun. Your charter yacht’s crew will have all the tenders, kayaks, paddleboards and other toys ready for you to enjoy in the warm waters and sunshine. Miles and miles of white beaches are here too if you prefer to nap with your toes in the sand. DAY 10 PLAYA DEL TRENCH > PALMA 47 km - 29 miles (average distance) PALMA DE MALLORCA Enjoy a morning of touring Palma de Mallorca, a remarkable mix of ancient architecture and modern delights. Browse for souvenirs in the narrow stone alleyways, take a carriage ride through the streets or marvel at the grandeur of the 12th-century Gothic cathedral. Shopping here is high-end and sometimes uniquely local, with a few boutiques offering keepsakes that can’t be found anywhere else.
