The realization of this experience in a group aqua fitness class depends upon the leader’s choice of music and ability to select movement patterns that complement the music. There is a relationship between the music and the movement that motivates participants physically, mentally and emotionally. If there is synergy between the music and the movement, participants will develop a feeling of mastery of movement and enthusiasm for their successes. As you progress, you’ll naturally increase your reps, surface area, and speed of motion to perform exercises that are more challenging.
