Creative Sound Solutions FR125S Full Range
The FR125S is Creative Sound Solutions 4.5” full
range loudspeaker. It is a shielded driver
featuring a curvelinear paper cone, rubber
surround, & copper phase plug suitable for
Hi-Fi & Home Theatre. The motor is
based on the patent-pending XBL2 ™
motor topology under license from
Adire Audio, Lynnwood Washington.
The flatter BL, lower distortion, low
moving mass, & significant excursion
provided by the XBL2 ™ motor, permit
this speaker to perform very cleanly with
a wide frequency response as well as
almost unbelievable bass output.

The FR125S has superb midrange clarity & extended, low distortion bass. On a standard
IEC baffle in a 200 litre enclosure the on-axis response is ± 3 dB from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.

At a nominal 94 dB SPL. 20 discrete frequencies are fed to the
driver – the spikes in the plot. Below the spikes is all the
spectral contamination. THD, IMD, buzzes, rubs, etc. 10
dB/division. It is EXTREMELY clean – there's a good 40+ dB
between the stimuli and the contamination at all frequencies
above 150 Hz.
