Internal Job Posting DZ Gravel Truck Driver Contract Full Time Posted: October 21st, 2014 Closing: October 31st, 2014 at 4 pm Responsibilities:  The maintenance of the Industrial Road, Manitouwadge to Caramat (gravel portion)(93 km long).  Loading the truck and sanding the road, (winter), load gravel for patching, (summer) .  Keeping the log book up to date, including the performance of circle checks.  Abiding by all aspects of the Highway Traffic Act/Laws  Following Safety rules and regulations set forth, and Ontario laws and regulations.  Booking regular scheduled maintenance of your vehicles and keeping legible and accurate log book of such maintenance.  Filling in of daily time cards.  Perform preventive maintenance; Perform emergency roadside repairs  Must be willing to live away from the community, for short periods of time.(winter only) Qualifications:        Valid DZ driver’s license Clean driver’s abstract Ability to use rubber tired front end loader (HEO certificate) Must know how to operate radios 1 year experience would be an asset Need to pass an MTO medical Ability to take instructions from Road Project Manager What needs to be submitted: Resume with 3 references, cover letter, a copy of your DZ driver’s license, a driver’s abstract, and HEO certificate All interested candidates please forward your complete application to: Joni Michano Contracts Coordinator - PRDC 7 Lynx Road Box 220 Via: Heron Bay, ON P0T 1R0 [email protected]
