Amorphogénèse

Caverne Antiplatonicienne — Caverne Zarathoustrienne / Caverne Anaximandrienne
Amorphogénèse est un instrument et une installation pour architecture interactive/intra-active numérique. Avec
celle-ci, le mouvement des corps transforme des mailles numériques amorphes en une émergence sans fin.
Amorphogénèse est un concept philosophique de Jaime del Val qui part du principe que le mouvement n’est assujetti à ni ne tend vers aucune forme.
L’émergence continue de l’amorphe constitue une nouvelle condition perceptuelle. Les espaces générés dans
Anamorphogénèse ne sont nullement cartésiens. Irréductibles à une res extensa, soit une étendue mesurable, de
tels espaces n’ont pas vocation à être navigués. Il faut y voir au contraire des espaces intensifs qui prennent forme
avec le mouvement. Les architectures ont partie liée à un métacorps en excès du corps intra-agissant.
Le participant ne maîtrise pas les mailles, aucune corrélation manuelle n’est établie. La représentation d’espaces
connus n’a pas cours. Il s’agit plutôt d’un processus de co-constitution décentralisé où la perception se fait ellemême émergente: une métaformance, par laquelle le participant vit et expérimente l’émergence de nouvelles
manières de percevoir, de l’espace-temps, d’une relation écologique et dynamique avec un environnement qui
n’est ni préformé ni supposé d’avance, et encore moins assujetti, dans le courant même de son jaillissement, à des
stratégies d’optimisation. Une machine oeuvrant dans le sens d’une ouverture de la perception à l’indéterminé, une
caverne antiplatonicienne, une caverne Zarathoustrienne-Anaximandrienne par où l’empire de la représentation
est délégitimé. Un monde de devenirs.

Amorphogenesis

Antiplatonic Cave – Zarathustrian Cave / Anaximandrian Cave
Amorphogenesis is an instrument and installation for digital
interactive/intra-active architecture in which the movement of
bodies transforms amorphous digital meshes in neverending
emergence. Amorphogensis is also a philosophical concept by Jaime del Val that points to an account of
movement as not subjected to form nor pointing to it. The ongoing emergence of the amorphous is thus a new
perceptual condition. The spaces generated in
Amorphogenesis are not cartesian spaces that one can navigate, they are not a res extensa. They are intensive
spaces hat emerge with the movement. The architectures are part of an expanded metabody of the intra-acting
body. The subject interacting is not in control of the meshes, no manual correlation is established.
There is no representation of known spaces. Rather, there is a
process of decentralized co-constitution in which perception itself is emerging: a metaformance, in which the
interactor experiences the emergence of new kinds of perception, space-time, movement and ecological relation
with an environment which is not preformed, nor subjected in its emergence to optimisation strategies: a machine
for opening up perception to indeterminacy, an antiplatonic cave, a Zarathustrian-Anaximandrian cave in which
there is no realm of representation.
