GSA, the Gay Straight Alliance, will hold a
meeting in Room A303 after school. All are

Reading Warlocks of MHS Club will meet every
week 2:45-3:30pm in the Library.
World Challenge Peru will meet at 7:15 AM in
A104.
Photo Club will meet after school at 2:35pm in
Room B205.
Meditation, Yoga & Health Club meets at
7:15am in the Library Conference Room.
Fashion Club meets after school 2:30-3:30pm in
Room B210.
Constitution Club meeting after school in Mr.
Venezia’s Room B313.

Wednesday, April 29: Day Four:
NAHS will meet every other week at 7:20am in
Mrs. Queval’s Room B206.
Philosophy Club will meet in Room A308 right
after school.
Women’s Rights Awareness Club will meet in
Room A306 after school.
Thursday, April 30, Day One:
Best Buddies Officer Meeting will meet at
7:30am in the lecture hall (club meets once a
month on the second Thursday).
Computer Club meeting after school in Room

Anime Club meeting every Thursday after school
in Room A311 (English computer lab).
Jefferson Forum Club will meet after school in
the Library at 2:55. Anyone who would like to join
should attend the meeting.
Contours Club will meet @ 2:45pm in Room

Shakespeare Club: after school in Room A305.
YMCA Leaders’ Club: meets every Thursday at
6pm at the LVO YMCA in the first floor conference
room.
Meditation, Yoga & Health Club meets at
7:15am in the Library Conference Room.
Roots & Shoots will meet after school in the
Guidance Conference Room.
Latin Club will meet in Room A110 at 2:45pm
after school.

At Our Lady Star of the Sea Church at 80 Atlantic
Avenue in Marblehead. Let’s send all this light of
prayer, strength and healing to Ben in France.
A Navy recruiter will be here in the cafe
today during lunches.
The JCC Triathlon on Sunday May 10th at
8:00am at the JCC.
This fun opportunity for Marblehead and
Swampscott High School students to compete
against each other in this year’s race! Long live
the rivalry between The Magicians & Big
Blue! Students are encouraged to race in relay
teams of three, but can certainly enter as
individuals. Go Active and the JCC’s timing
company will be creating a special timing category
just for the head to head school competition.

Seniors
The Allie Castner Scholarship is now available
in the Guidance Office.
The application deadline is May 23, 2015.
Tuesday May 12th, 5 to 7pm is the opening of
the Senior Art Show at the Abbot Public
Library, in the Virginia Carten Gallery.
The show will run until June 4th and will be open
to the public following library hours.
Architecture student from first semester, please
come by B213 to pick up your models and blue
prints.
Meditation is in the library on
Thursdays and Fridays for any students
in study halls!
DVDs of this year’s PowderPuff Football Game
are available for sale for $20 please See Mr.
Christensen in the Television Studio to
purchase one.
Please stop by the School Store during lunch
on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the Café. Also

MAGIC HAT THRIFT SHOP STUDENT VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITY MHS students needed to volunteer
for 1 hour shifts on Saturdays, between 8:30am1:30pm at THE MAGIC HAT THRIFT SHOP.
Earn community service hours for National Honor
Society and other volunteer requirements you may
need to fill. Funds raised through your student
volunteer hours will fund student programs, classroom
tools and technology needs.

Traffic Drop Off and Pick UpThe front circle is reserved for emergency vehicles,
special needs buses and the METCO bus. Please
DO NOT park in the front circle.
Reminder-The first bell is at 7:50am at MHS. The
Late Bell is at 7:55am. It is each student’s
responsibility to be seated in their classroom or
study (not walking through the front door) at that
time ready to begin class. It is extremely
disruptive to your teacher & classmates to arrive
late. Please make every effort to come to school
early.
