2:15 P.M.) JUNIOR MATCHING TO BE DONE BY COACHES AT THIS TIME. IT IS VERY
IMPORTANT THAT A COACH PROM EACH CLUB BE PRESENT AT THE START OF THE
MATCHMAKING TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TFL4T NEED TO BE MADE. (NOCHANGES WILL
BE ALLOWED AFTER THE MATCHMAKING AND BRACKETING IS COMPLETED).

BOXERS MUST REPRESENT A CURRENT USA BOXING MEMBER CLUB OR BOX UNATI'ACHED.
REGISTRATION:
ALL TOURNAMENTPARTICIPANTS MUST BE CURRENT USA BOXING MEMBERS. (BOXERS
MUST HAVE A PASSBOOK, NON-ATHLETES MUST HAVE A PERMANENT CARD OR
TEMPORARY PINK SLIP). YOU CAN REGISTER DURING THE WEIGH-INS ON MARCH 2oST
BUT TO SAVE TIME WE URGE YOU TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE. IF YOU MUST REGISTER AT
THE WEIGH-INS YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF AGE (BIRTH CERTIFICATE, DRAER'S
LICENSE, ETC.). BOXERS MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHOTO AND $50.00 FEE. IF A BOXER IS
UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE HEISHE MUST BRING A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN TO SIGN1
COACH'S REGISTRATION IS $80.00. NOTE: ALL COACHES MUST HAVE ATTENDED A
CERTIFICATION CLINIC AS REQUIRED BY USA BOXING TO WORK AT THEIR CAPACITY. ALL
NON-ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK.

JUNIORS: BOXERS 8 THROUGH 16 YEARS OF AGE. MATCHES TO BE MADE BY COACHES.
JUNIOR MATCHES WILL BE CONTESTED ON MARCH 2om AND 24* ONLY AS NEEDED.

BOXER, HEISHE MUST BOX OPEN.. ..A BOXER WHO IS 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER MAY NOT
PARTICIPATE IN THE SUB-NOVICE CLASS (HEISHE MUST BOX NOVICE OR OPEN). ...
ANY JUNIOR BOXER WHO WINS A NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPIC, P.A.L., SILVER
GLOVES, JUMOR GOLDEN GLOVES OR SIMlLAR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT 14,15 OR 16
MUST BOX OPEN WHEN THEY BECOME A SENIOR BOXER.. ..THEAGE OF A BOXER SHALL BE
DETERMINED AS THE BOXER'S AGE ON AUGUST lST OF THE CURRENT CALANDER YEAR.
THE NUMBER OF BOUTS OF EXPERIENCE SHALL BE COUNTED CONTINUOUSLY THROUGH
THE BOXER'S CAREER WITHOUT INTERUPTION.. ..A BOXER SHALL HAVE THE OPTION TO
MOVE TO A HIGHER CLASS AT ANY TIME. HOWEVER, ONCE A BOXER MOVES UP W S H E
MAY NEVER REVERT BACK.

NO WEIGHT ALLOWANCE GIVEN!. ... JUNIORS & FEMALES AS MATCHED. NOTE: THIS IS NOT
AN ADVANCING TOURNAMENT FOR FEMALES OR JUNIORS.. .THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO
PARTICIPATE IN THIS TOURNAMENT ON A MATCH MAKING BASIS ONLY.
BOUT & ROUND
LENGTH:
THREE .(3), TWO (2) MINUTE ROUNDS FOR SUB-NOVICE & NOVICE. THREE (3) MINUTE
ROUNDS FOR OPEN. JUNIORS & FEMALES AS AGREED BY COACHES.
PASSES:
EACH PARTICIPATING BOXER AND COACH WlLL RECErVE A PASS WHICH IS GOOD FOR ALL
DATES OF THE TOURNAMENT. BOXERS WILL RECEIVE THEIR PASS UPON COMPLETION OF
INITIAL WEIGH-IN. COACHES MAY PICK UP THEIR PASS AT THE WEIGH-INS ON MARCH 20th.
COACHES PASSES WILL BE ISSUED ONLY AFTER RECEIPT OF A COMPLETED "COACHES
INFORMATION FORM" WITH CURRENT USA BOXING REGISTRATION NUMBER AND
VARIFICATION OF CURRENT CERTWICATION. THESE FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN NOT
LATER THAN THE END OF WEIGH-INS ON MARCH 20th . NO COACHES FORMS WILL BE
ACCEPTED AFTER THAT TIME. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PRESENT THEIR PASS AT THE
"PASS DOOR" EACH DATE FOR ADMISSION. (PASS DOOR OPENS AT 5:30 P.M). HANG ON TO
YOUR OWN PASS ! ! ! IF YOUR PASS IS LOST IT WILL NOT BE REPLACED AND IT WILL BE
UP TO YOU TO PAY ADMISSION FROM THAT TIME ON...NO PASS NO ADMITTANCE. ..ALL
OTHERS MUST HAVE AN ADMISSION TICKET.

APPEARANCE:
AS SPECIFIED IN THE USA BOXING OFFICIAL RULE BOOK. BOXERS WITH INFRACTIONS OF
THE GROOMING RULES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WEIGH-IN.
UNIFORMS AND
EQUIPMENT:
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN UNIFORMS & MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
INCLUDING HAND WRAPS AS SPECIFIED IN THE USA BOXING OFFICIAL RULE BOOK.
COACHES MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CORNER EQUIPMENT. BOXING GLOVES WILL BE
PROVIDED.
RULES:
THE CURRENT EDITION OF USA BOXING OFFICIAL RULES SHALL PREVAIL OVER THIS
TOURNAMENT.
MEDICAL BILLS:
WE ARE NOT RESPONSlBLE FOR MEDICAL OR DENTAL BILLS OTHER THAN THOSE PAID BY
USA BOXING INSURANCE. THESE EXPENSES WILL BE PAID ONLY WHEN THE INJURY IS
PROPERLY REPORTED AND THE NECESSARY FORMS ARE COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER
AWARDS:
OUTSTANDING AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE CHAMPION IN EACH WEIGHT DMSION
OF EACH CLASS. RUNNER-UPS WILL RECEIVE SILVER MEDALS. NOTE: UNCONTESTED
CHAMPIONS WILL RECEIVE A GOLD MEDAL. EACH JUNIOR & FEMALE WILL RECEIVE A
MOMENTUM FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION. SPECIAL AWARDS WILL ALSO BE PRESENTED
(GOLDEN GLOVES TAKES PRIDE IN PRESENTING THE FINEST AWARDS GIVEN ANYWHERE IN
AMATEUR BOXING).
