Easy Installation Easy to install, indoors or out, on fixed or portable conveyors, the Series 20’s rugged construction is designed for harsh applications including: • Crushing plants • Chemical plants • Asphalt plants • Mines • Cement mills • Coal preparation plants • Paper mills • Gypsum plants • Sand and gravel operations • Coal-fired power plants • Ore benefication processes • Rail loadout 10-17-2 Operational Parameters Operational Parameters Operational Parameters 0.125% > 20tph < 12 000tph up to 6m/s certifiable 600 to 2 200mm -350 mm lump size 9m/11m space weigh idlers required 0.25% > 20tph < 5 000tph up to 4m/s non-certifiable 600 to 2 200mm -350 mm 7m/11m space w/idlers opt 0.5% > 15tph < 1 000tph up to 2m/s non-certifiable 450 to 1 500mm -150 mm 5m space w/idlers req Cost Effective Weighing Solutions SERIES 30 IDEA SERIES WEIGH CLASS IDLERS Cost Effective Weighing 2% Versatile Weighing 1% Improve Accuracy 10-30-1 The Series 30 Belt Scale System: • Is ideally suited for applications in processes involving either non-critical or lower value, materials. • It provides basic rate and totalization functions which can be used for process control and/or production output monitoring. • It is specifically designed for operations where economy and ease of installation are important considerations. • The Series 30 combines the proven reliability of Ramsey’s 10-30 Weighbridge and 60-12 Speed Sensor with the advanced electronics of the new Mini 11-101F Integrator. Dual Load Cell Model 450mm to 2200mm The IDEA Belt Scale System: Weigh Class Idlers: • Continues Ramsey’s longstanding tradition of providing high quality, reliable and innovative weighing products to the process industries. • Modern conveyor scales are capable of amazing accuracy, even under the most severe operating conditions. As with most things however, overall performance is dictated by the weakest link in the system, and experience shows that this is most often due to the use of inferior idlers. • Its patented design is the result of Ramsey’s experience in thousands of belt scale applications around the world. • The IDEA scale is specifically designed for operations where economy and ease of installation are important considerations. It is ideally suited for applications in processes involving either non-critical or lower value materials. It provides basic rate and totalization functions which can be used for control and/or production output monitoring. • Even relatively small misalignments in the idler frame or imbalance of a roll can introduce unwanted forces and vibration, irrespective of how carefully they are installed and aligned. it is therefore highly recommended that all conveyor scales be fitted with good quality idler frames and rolls. • Thermo Ramsey manufacture and supply idlers and rolls that comply with the best international specifications, for all conveyor scale applications. These units will not only provide you with the best possibly weighing accuracy, but will last for an extended period of time. Single Load Cell Model Operational Parameters Operational Parameters 2% > 5tph < 350tph up to 1.5m/s non-certifiable 450 to 900mm -150 mm 3m space w/idlers/opt 1% > 2tph < 500tph up to 1.5m/s non-certifiable 450 to 1 200mm -150 mm 3m space w/idlers/opt • Ideally a scale requires 3 idlers before, 3 idlers after and 1, 2, 4 or 6 scale mounted idlers depending on scale type chosen. For example, a 10-14-4 system would require 10 weigh class idler sets, 3 lead-in, 3 lead-out and 4 mounted on the weigh frame itself. Accessories MICRO-TECH 9000 MINI 11-101 60-12 Super Precision Integrator Premium Integrator Belt Speed Sensors & Drive Units Models 9001, 9101, 9201 Ramsey’s Micro-Tech 9000 Series: • Signifies a new approach to scale instrumentation, giving the user more flexibility and vastly increased upgrade capabilities. • Each electronics model in the series is designed for a specific weighing application: belt scales, weighbelt feeders, impact weighing systems, static weighing systems, batch weighing systems or loss of weight systems. • Because the Micro-Tech 9000 Series uses a common platform, the user needs to only become familiar with one basic interface. Comes standard with all Ramsey Integrators • Chain would typically extend to total length of weigh area: (weigh span + lead in/lead out) ie. for 10-14-4 = 9m. Factory set up to give +/- 75% of max load Use the same method of calculation as in Static Weights, then in the example given: 900 = 100kg/m 3.6 x 2.5 60% of this figure is: 100 x 0.6 = 60 kg/m x 4m (10-14-4) = 240kg Your choice is: 12 x 20 kg weights = 240kg or 2 x 120 kg roll over weights Chain required 60kg/m x 9m = 540kg. • Storage Devices.
