Electricity from renewable sources like wind turbines is used to spin the tube or flywheel at very high speeds. Because the flywheel is in a near frictionless environment, it continues to spin until such time as the energy is required back in the electricity grid. The new hybrid flywheel energy storage plant is to be built at a site in Rhode, Co Offaly Q&A Lunch followed by Networking in Exhibitors Area – Kindly sponsored by Enersol Mnag.ie IWFA May Conference 2015 7th of May - HERITAGE HOTEL PORTLAOISE Session 3: Preparing your Project for Final Stages of Gate 3/ Increasing Revenue on your Wind Farm Chaired by Wilke Janssen - Sales Country Manager, Enercon Time 14:00 – 14:30 14:30 – 15:00 15:00 – 15:40 15:40 – 16:00 Talk Increasing Windfarm Revenue through Data Analysis An explanation on how to analyse your SCADA data to help improve turbine performance.
