FROM Travis Lunn Vice President of Hotel Operations May 22, 2015 Matthew Moraca In this new position, Matt will oversee all operations at SKYLOFTS including Housekeeping, Bell Desk, Concierge and Butler departments as well as the MGM Grand Concierge to deliver outanding guest service. Matt comes to the MGM Grand from Sands Bethlehem in Pennsylvania. He opened the property in 2011 as Director of Hotel Operations. During this time, Matt hired and trained all operational team members for the hotel grand opening. In 2008, Matt also opened the Palazzo/Venetian as Hotel Manager. There he hired and trained more than 100 Front Desk Agents and assisted with the “Day in the Life” program to identify and resolve ongoing operational issues. Matt is originally from Canton, Michigan, and earned his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Michigan State University. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, cooking and traveling.
