APRIL 2015 TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION HAPPY PASSOVER & EASTER!!! Welcome home snowbirds. We hope you had an enjoyable winter and are ready to join us on our day trips. Our office is a very busy one, whether we are scheduling medical appointments or trips. We ask that if you are making medical appointments to please call our office after 1 p.m. Monday to Friday. When calling in on your call-in day, you can call for yourself and one other person as long as they live in the same community as you. You can not give a third persons name even if it’s for a different trip. If you get placed on our stand-by list, please keep in mind that if it is possible, we may add another bus to this trip or we may get a different date which will be offered to the ones on stand-by. We try our best to satisfy everyone. To avoid making a cancellation, please check your personal calendar before calling in for trips. This helps us to serve you better. However, if you must cancel a trip, please call our office as soon as possible or at least 2 (two) weeks before the trip. Our number is (609) 443-0511. Our answering machine is on 24 hours a day. Please leave a message with your name, phone number and the trip date that you would like to cancel. TRANSPORTATION PICK-UP INFORMATION FOR APRIL 2015 You will be called the day before each trip with your pick up time and location. We ask that you be at your pick up location at least 10 minutes prior to the time you are told. A 10 MINUTE LEEWAY BEFORE AND AFTER THE ASSIGNED TIMES IS APPRECIATED. PICK-UP LOCATIONS IN ADULT COMMUNITIES ****Clearbrook residents must specify which Pick-Up stop they want**** Clearbrook: leaves from the Cultural Center and the Clubhouse. PONDS/ENCORE/ STONEBRIDGE, RENAISSANCE @ MONROE AND CRANBURY CROSSING: All Buses leave from their Community’s Clubhouse. ROSSMOOR: All buses leave from POOL-SIDE. REGENCY: Buses leave from Bus Stop in Parking Lot. CONCORDIA and GREENBRIAR @ WHITTINGHAM: All Buses leave from the Bus Shelter in the Parking Lot. REFUND POLICY If you need to cancel for any reason, please call us as soon as possible. Refunds are granted—without a doctor’s note-when you cancel two (2) weeks prior to the trip date. Otherwise, a note is required within five (5) business days of the trip and your seat MUST be replaced. Any and all refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the trip. If you come to us after this time period there will be NO REFUNDS GIVEN! Payment for trips are not deductible as a charitable contribution. We will be stopping at the Old Country Buffet for lunch prior to this 2 p.m. show. Cost is $46 p.p. Stand-by Only April 8th… “National Pastime” @ Bucks County Playhouse….This musical is about baseball, love and the golden age of radio. Lets go see what happens when the two owners can’t decide if they should sell out or keep the radio station going in its decline. Weather permitting, we will go early so you can have lunch on your own in town. Cost is $50 p.p. Stand-by Only April 9th…. “Abie’s Irish Rose” @ Hunterdon Hills Playhouse….Let’s go and see what happens when Abraham introduces his new bride Rosemary as a Jewish girl. Everything seems to go good until her Irish-Catholic father shows up and starts a tug of war between everyone. Cost is $55 p.p. Stand-by Only April 20th…. “Mazeltov-Mazeltov” @ Li Greci’s Staaten….NY & NJ’s most dynamic JewishAmerican Diva “Lisa Sherman” will be performing the music of your all time favorite artists like Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler and Carole King. We also have the Allstar show & dance band along with the famous & hilarious comedian. Please choose one of the following meals: Beef Brisket, Chicken Marsala or Salmon w/ Dill Sauce. Cost is $49 p.p. April 29th…. “Smithville”….You will be on your own to stroll in this beautiful little village at your own pace. You can shop, browse, eat or just enjoy yourself. Cost is $10 p.p. April 30th…. “Red Mill” & “Hunterdon Art Museum”….Our first stop on this trip will be the Red Mill for a guided tour of their museum, then we will go to the Clinton Station Diner for a preselected lunch. After lunch we will then go to the Hunterdon Art Museum for a guided tour of their museum. Cost is $38 p.p. May 5th…. “Pearl S. Buck House” & Peddlers Village….We will have a guided tour of the home of this world famous author, first female to be awarded the Nobel & Pulitzer Prize winner and humanitarian. After our tour here we will then head over to Peddlers Village for you to have lunch on your own and some time to shop. Cost is $15 p.p. May 7th…. “In the Mood” @ Bucks County Playhouse….Let’s go hop along the “Chattanooga Choo Choo” to “Tuxedo Junction”. While there we will be serenaded by a 13-piece Big Band and six singer-dancers with some hot boogie woogie. Before this 2 p.m. show, you will have time in town to have lunch on your own. Cost is $40 p.p. May 13th…. “Morven Museum & Garden”…. Join us for a guided tour of this historic home that was the home of five NJ Governors and one of the Declaration of Independence signers. After our tour you will be on your own in Princeton to have lunch. Cost is $8 p.p. May 20th…. “Ellis Island”….You will be on your own to explore Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty at your own pace along with lunch on your own. We are boarding the boat at Liberty State Park and that’s where you need to return for us to head home. Cost is $17 p.p.
