Dear Parents and Friends This year’s Autumn Fair will be held on Saturday 9th May. At last year’s Fair alone we raised $45,000. These funds go directly back to assist our girls and contribute to the school purchasing many valuable items such as: Library Resources & furniture Musical instruments Printers and sewing machines Prizes IT Resources for Junior School and more To assist with the large expenses that some stalls have in the lead up to the fair, such as food for the BBQ, pies, drinks and scones, we have asked in the past that all students make a $15 donation. For 2015, this can be donated through the school fee statement by contributing to the P&F Association. Please consider making this donation as it will greatly assist us in our preparations, and it will assist us to make donations that help the girls into the future. Parents, if you can assist in any other way, such as by donating goods or services for the Silent Auction, please contact the P&F via email. We ask all students and parents to refer to the list of each year group’s stalls and Auction hamper items. Donations of good for these should be placed in the boxes located in the junior and senior school office corridors. We are ready to accept these now. Convenors are now waiting to hear from parents who can assist on a stall - to set up for the Fair the night before, to work on the stall during the day or to help with pack up Saturday afternoon. Shower caps come packaged in an organza gift bag. These designer shower caps are available for pre-order only until 17 April 2015 and will be distributed to the girls in their classrooms in time for Mother’s Day. The P&F will receive a great commission for each shower cap sold. Homemade goods needed for the Danebank cake stall. Please bake good old fashioned favourites; chocolate cake, unfilled sponges, fruit cake, banana bread, chocolate crackles, toffee, coconut ice, tarts, quiche, slices and biscuits. Gluten free items would also be appreciated. Please include an ingredients list. Please no cupcakes or commercially bought items. Danebank will be receiving 20% of the sales made on the day so support Danebank by coming along and seeing what’s new with Tupperware.
