About the Program:
Information and referral services for anyone in a situation of
domestic violence. Emergency shelter for any victims and/or
their children who are in danger of, or are in, a battering
relationship. Legal Advocacy is also available including
assistance with injunctions for protection, safety planning and
police report follow-up. Assist victims with relocation assistance
and referrals for appropriate legal services.

About the Program:
The program’s mission is to empower senior victims of crime so
they may recover from their victimization, regain their dignity and
sense of security, and remain in the least restrictive setting
(home) for as long as possible.
The program assists victims (age 60+) of violent crime,
domestic/family violence, property crime, elder abuse,
exploitation and economic crime. All services are free and
include crisis counseling and intervention, home visits,
information and referral, criminal justice advocacy/support,
personal advocacy, and assistance in filing a claim for Victim
Compensation for property loss and medical/mental health
expenses.
The program also provides informative and educational
presentations on elder abuse, neglect and exploitation, crime
prevention, identity theft and senior sensitivity training.

About the Program:
The Victim Advocate Unit provides crisis intervention, supportive
assistance, advocacy and counseling, and social service
referrals. The Victim Advocate Unit provides crisis response as
deemed necessary by the Boca Police Department and is on call
24 hours a day/ seven days a week. The Victim Advocate Unit
assists all victims of crimes and provides social service

About the Program:
Licensed clinical social workers and licensed marriage and
family therapists provide counseling to anyone in need. Deal
with problems such as depression, loneliness, grief and loss,
anxiety, stressful relationships and other difficulties.
Free in-home professional counseling for single or married
women who are pregnant or have children, dealing with issues of
isolation, anxiety and depression. Encourages decision-making
skills, communication skills, assertiveness and problem solving.
Immigration Legal Services provides services to foreign-born
individuals in need of immigration assistance. The program’s
focus is primarily on family reunification.
Citizenship Grant Services: the Citizenship program goal is to
provide citizenship services to eligible refugees, asylum seekers,
Cuban/Haitian entrants.

Provides telephone counseling to help people through personal
problems, emotional stress and such emergencies as attempted
suicide and drug overdoses. Provides information about the
various human services available in the area to anyone with a
need for that information. Provides linkage for people in need to
appropriate agencies/services to eliminate or alleviate that need,
and helps the client through the maze of resources.

Provides telephone counseling, crisis intervention and suicide
prevention to adolescents. Serves as a special information and
referral source for adolescent issues. Monday, Wednesday &
Friday evenings, 4 – 10:00pm, teens are available on the Teen
Hotline to talk to callers.

Elder HelpLine enables Palm Beach County residents over 60
years of age to have at their disposal a ready and
comprehensive source for community information on services

The only runaway shelter in Palm Beach County. You ages 10-17 can
access help by going to any Safe Place site in the county such as local
fire stations, Domino’s Pizza, hospitals, etc. Child must come voluntarily.

The ICIP program provides in-home counseling services for children,
youth and their families involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice.
A therapist visit the youth’s home two to three times a week for six
consecutive weeks to address the client and family issues. If the
therapist determines the need for continued counseling in the home
setting, the client and family will be referred to a program that provides
long term services.

About the Program:
Provides individuals with information on jobs, training shelters, child care,
food programs, emergency assistance, literacy, transportation, special
needs and assistance in a one-stop assistance center. Family Day is
designed to provide information regarding pre-natal care and daily living
skills. Job Day invites a different business every week to provide
information about positions and applications for clients. Senior Day

includes case management for Medical waiver and assisted listing
waiver. Screening is done to assist with daycare, respite homemaker,
personal care, home delivered meals, companionship, and emergency
alert response systems. Transportation can also be provided to doctors,
shopping, adult daycare and congregate meals. Bags of groceries are
given to seniors who are indigent and over age 60.
