Because they make a significant difference in improving county residents’ lives, the Women’s Health Initiative Nursing Case Management Team has been granted the Star Award by the Palm Beach County Health Department. The WHIN Nursing Case Management Team provides services in the Riviera Beach area – where twice as many black infants die before reaching their first birthday than children of other ethnicities.
