American Legion Riders, Post#79 PO Box 602 Irvine, KY 40336 [email protected] The American Legion Riders of Post #79 will once again be hosting the Mountain Mushroom Bike Show, Sunday, April 26 in the parking lot behind the courthouse. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and voting will take place by festival-goers up until the trophy presentation at 3 p.m. This will be the 8th year for the event, which welcomes all motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to join them to raise money for St. James Place Homeless Shelter. So polish the chrome, wax the tank and ride your bike to Mushroom Festival Sunday morning. A $5 donation is all that’s needed to enter one of six classes and then enjoy an afternoon of festival events while festival-goers buy $1 ballots and vote on their favorite bikes. At the end of day, bikers enjoy VIP festival parking, help support St James Place Homeless Shelter and just maybe take home some impressive hardware during the trophy presentation. The American Legion Riders is a national veteran’s motorcycle association with our local Irvine chapter receiving its charter in 2005. We share the enjoyment of motorcycles, the thrill of riding the scenic back-roads of Eastern Kentucky and our tremendous friendships. We proudly honor and support our local Veterans, as well as charities such as the Estill County’s Toys-forTots, St. James Place, and KY Wounded Warriors.
