The Movie Mill’s “QUICK FLICK” Contest is governed by the following rules. By parcontest at any time, at its sole discretion.

Previously published material for which non-exclusive rights were granted may be
entered as long as you still warrant full usage rights. However, upon submission
not infringe on the rights of any other videographer, person, or organization, and
cannot submit footage that involves willful damage to property or the environment
by the videographer.

THE RULES AND THE GOODIES

In celebration of our 2nd QUICK FLICK celebration, we are seeking short ﬁlms. We welcome ﬁlms from any genres. Some possible ideas might include
the Movie Mill; life in our community; or Big Brothers Big Sisters (our sponsored charity). For example, you might create a policy trailer regarding
cell phones in a theatre; a commercial for our popcorn; why Lethbridge is such a great community; what Big Brothers Big Sisters is about, etc. You don’t
REQUIREMENTS
Films must be 60 seconds or less in length (“QUICK FLICK”).
Submission deadline: June 30, 2015
WINNERS/PRIZES
Awards will be given by:
The Movie Mill
Big Brothers Big Sisters
and/or YouTube channel. Voting will be done online. Contest winners will be announced by July 30th, 2015.
Videos will be shown during events including the Movie Mill’s QUICK FLICK celebration, posted on the
Movie Mill’s website, and shared for other purposes. The QUICK FLICK ﬁlms voted best overall
will win: (1) FREE movies for a year, or (2) a PRIVATE screening for up to 50 people - complete with pop
and popcorn, or 3) GIFT CARDS to many of your favourite local businesses!
Additional prizes will be awarded based on the number and quality of entries received.

I agree to the 2015 Movie Mill “QUICK FLICK” Contest release policy.
If the ﬁlm contains recognizable people, they must have authorized the videographer to use their picture on the internet and in print
for the purpose of this contest and subsequent screenings in connection with this contest. The videographer will remain responsible
for providing such permission upon request. Permission of persons obviously posing for a photo is implied, therefore no release is
needed in such instances. Other exceptions include photos of individuals participating in a public performance (theatre, athletics,
dance, etc.) or public crowd shots in which no individual is singled out.
