How many do you still have? Show your thinking in your journal. Write an addition story for 6+2 Then solve it! Draw a repeating pattern with shapes in your summer journal. Ask a friend or adult to add to it! Glue a pattern into your summer journal with any small items (stickers, cereal, etc) Label your pattern. Count how many baby steps it take to get from your bedroom to the kitchen. Repeat with giant steps. Which took more? How many more? Trace your foot. Find something that measures smaller, bigger, and the same as your foot. Record those items.
