Joining employees from Comcast’s Lynnwood and Everett Call Centers, volunteers will be providing a facelift to the campus through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor projects, including painting, landscaping and general cleaning. “We continue to be overwhelmed by the support from our community, and we are so appreciative of the local Comcast employees who selected Marysville Pilchuck for their day of service project. We’re especially excited that this is an opportunity for the entire community to join in and inject some love into the campus, ensuring it a great place for students to learn,” said Dr. Becky Berg, Superintendent of the Marysville School District. “We’re proud to make Marysville Pilchuk High School the center piece of our volunteer efforts for the 14th Comcast Cares Day. Comcast employees, family members and friends are eager to show in a tangible way how much we respect that school and what it stands for and to improve the learning environment in any way we can for students, faculty and staff,” said Steve Kipp, Vice President of External Affairs for Comcast in Washington. In addition to the volunteer accomplishments on Comcast Cares Day, the Comcast Foundation will provide a grant in recognition of the Comcast employees and many volunteers who gave their time. The grant will allow the school district to continue to invest in our students.
