June is such a fun time in Snohomish County with all of the festivals, farmers markets, sunshine and
beaches! Here is a list of events happening in or around Snohomish County! The events are color coded to

Mountlake Terrace Olympic View Ice Arena is hosting the 2015 Ice fest! Come watch the Seattle Skating
Club compete doing solo dances!

Come see hydro plane races on Saturday June 6th 2015 and Sunday June 7th 2015 at Silver lake in
Everett, WA! This will be their 60th annual race! American Power Boat Association will be sponsoring this
event. There will be about 80 different hydro planes!! The racing begins at 11:00 AM and goes all day until
6:00 PM. There will be junior races ages 10 to 15 years old. This event will be held at the West end of the
lake. Food and ice cream will be available to buy. Don’t miss out on all the fun.

Come down to Allen Creek Elementary School to participate in a free family day with activities and booths
promoting healthy lifestyles. There will be local fitness and health agencies, health food vendors, a rock
climbing wall, giveaways, workout demos, and arts & crafts for the kids. Rising Stars Gymnastics and the
Marysville Pilchuck Drum-line will be there. This event starts at 10:00 AM and goes until 2:00 PM.

Come to Lake Tye in Monroe, WA to watch a water ski, wake board, and wake surf tournament! This event
is held at the Lake Tye Park. The tournament starts at 8:00 in the morning and goes until 6:00 at night.

Camano Island Chamber of Commerce is putting on the 3rd annual Summerfest in Camano Island! This
festival is FREE! There will be tons of activities for children, a beer/wine garden for adults, and live music
for everyone to enjoy.

On June 13th come to Marysville, WA for Kids Day at Asberry Fields! Located right next to Totem Middle
School. 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. FREE admission! Lots of games, activities and face painters will be there.

Sample local wine while you shop and walk! You can bring your own glass or purchase one there for $10.
You can go online here to get your tickets now and save money. Otherwise you can just pay when you get
to the event. You can enjoy the vintage atmosphere of downtown Snohomish, WA while walking through
all of the great shops. Snohomish is the Antique Capitol of the Pacific Northwest!

See all kinds of awesome cars varying from all different years and models at the 16th annual Show & Shine
car show. It will be in downtown Arlington, WA. There will be many activities for all ages in Legion Park.
There will be two charities there, the Arlington food bank will be collecting food and the purple relay for
life will be collecting any donations. These are both optional but they go to great causes! The show starts
bright and early at 8:00 AM and ends around 3:00 PM.
The Edmonds Art festival will be taking place at 700 Main St in Edmonds, WA. The purpose of this three
day festival is to celebrate art in the Edmonds community. There are over 240 booths set up full of art that
local artists are selling. Lots of the art for sale has won awards! There will be music and live dance
performers. Kids are more than welcome to come join in on the fun with a place to make their own art and
get their face painted. You can enjoy food from over 20 different vendors while you are looking at all the
artwork, or watching the performers.

Come be a part of the Marysville Strawberry festival! This is an annual event that happens every 3rd week
of June and it takes over Marysville! There is a carnival with lots of rides, a huge field full of local vendors
and delicious food, a shortcake eating contest, a parade down State Avenue ending with gorgeous
fireworks!

Come to Asberry Field to see tons of great cars! The show starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.

June 21st 2015 - Father’s Day!
Come watch the 2015 Timber bowl Rodeo at the Darrington WA Rodeo Grounds. There will be Saddle
Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, and Ladies Barrel Racing to watch! Admission is only $10 to get in. This event
starts at 2:00 PM.

At Forest Park in Everett, WA there is a petting zoo that is free admission 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There
are sheep, hens, rabbits, ducks, calves and pigs to pet! Although it is free, donations are always nice to
help pay the cost of caring for these animals.
