Dates: Saturday, 28th March 2015 Venue: University Sports Complex Time: Start time 8:30 hrs Fee: € 3.50 To enter this tournament please send an email confirmation to [email protected] Closing Date: Monday, 23rd March 2015 (16:00hrs) n As usual this ranking tournament will consist of a qualifying round for non-‐seeded players followed by a singles knock-‐out event and a plate event. n Usually this means the Qualifying round and Plate event is played by non-‐seeded players, then the final singles event is played between the successful qualifiers and the seeded players. n Points awarded during this event will count towards the official MTTA JUNIORS Under 21 Ranking List which will then be used for seeding and selection purposes for future MTTA events and tournaments. n All entrants are respectfully asked to be at the gym before the event starts so as to help with the setting-‐up. n Only fully paid-‐up members of the MTTA can participate in this event. n For further information please contact us on [email protected] or by visiting the MTTA facebook page www.facebook.com/maltatabletennis n The new ITTF rules regarding the use of glues, boosters, maximum thickness of racket coverings, the racket coverings that can be used etc will be enforced. Rackets will be inspected and tested and will be confiscated for the evening if found to be outside the regulations. Players who then decide not to continue or cannot continue, with competition, will be treated as if they have given a walkover. n Please also note that no gluing of any kind is allowed on Gym premises at any time. n Players entering this tournament and then giving a walkover will have points deducted from their ranking total, furthermore they will be expected to pay the unused entrance fee before they are allowed to enter any future MTTA event.
