This catering packet has been prepared to assist you in planning your food
service needs for your event or special meeting. This packet includes menu
ideas for breakfast, luncheon, dinner or any time in between.
There are many selections listed in this catering packet to choose from.
If you do not see a menu that will work for your event we will be glad to
customize a menu just for you.
Prices include delivery and set up as well as disposable plates, cups, napkins
and cutlery. If you require food service employee(s); labor will billed to you
dependent on your groups specific needs. Our supervisors are ServSafe
certified.
Groups needing to use school corporation kitchen facilities to prepare their
own food must follow the STM Corporation Kitchen Facility Usage Policy.
This policy can be found at the back of this packet. More information can be
made available for groups that have this specific need.

School Town of Munster Corporation Kitchen Facility Usage Policy
A building request form must be completed for special events and turned in to Dr. Larry Brechner.
The school calendar will be checked and the person(s) that made the request will be notified of a
final decision.
Groups that have requested kitchen facility usage will need DIRECT permission from the Food
Service Director. The Food Service Director will also determine how many food service employees
will be required for the requested event. If the kitchen facilities or serving line areas are requested
food service personnel MUST be hired for a minimum of 3 hours.
Groups needing to use the school corporation kitchen facilities MUST HIRE a food service
employee(s) to oversee safe food handling, operation of commercial kitchen equipment and
supervision of untrained kitchen volunteers.
The food service employee hired that will oversee the event is a Certified ServSafe Food Handler
through the National Restaurant Association.
Labor and usage will be billed dependent on your group’s specific needs.
If the kitchen is NOT being requested NO ONE will be allowed to enter the kitchen or serving
areas for any reason during your event. The kitchen, all serving lines and serving line areas, all
kitchen supplies and equipment ARE NOT allowed to be used under any circumstances.
Custodian requests and needs are separate from the food service department and need to be made
directly to the head custodian of your school building.
The Food Service Department looks forward to supporting the many events of the
School Town of Munster and its community.
