Diaz started her musical career at the age of 7 as part of the Venezuelan network of orchestras known as El Sistema. At the age of 17, Diaz is admitted to the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, where she participated in tour with renowned conductors such as Claudio Abaddo, Simon Rattle, Christian Vazquez and Diego Matheus and performed alongside soloists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Emmanuel Ax, Alissa Weilerstein, Martha Arguerich, Koljia Blacher and others. Daniela continued her violin and chamber music studies with Simon Gollo and Arnaldo Pizzolante at the Mozarteum Caracas School of Music. She has participated in numerous music festivals and master classes with renowned violinists such as Virginie Robilliard, Kristof Barati, Giovanni Guzzo, Benjamin Sung, Dmitri Berlinsky, Mikhail Bezverkhny and Markus Daunert. Ms. Diaz continues her education with Professor Dmitri Berlinsky at Michigan State University. SinYoung Kim, a South Korean violinist, started playing violin at the age of 4. She studied at arts middle and high school in Busan, and went to Kyung-won University with full scholarship. She came to the states for her Master’s degree at MSU back in 2011, and currently is pursuing her doctoral degree with Dmitri Berlinsky. Ever since she came to Michigan State, she has performed as a concertmaster and principal in the MSU Symphony, as well as performing with many orchestras all around Michigan. Seunghyun Kang is currently pursuing D.M.A degree at Michigan State University under Suren Bagratuni, working as a Teaching Assistant. Ms. Kang received her Bachelor's degree in music from Ewha Woman University in South Korea. When she studied for Master's degree in music at Indiana University in Bloomington under Sharon Robinson, she got Eva Heinitz scholarship from Ms. Catherine Schatzel and Janos Starker, Artistic Excellence Fellowship, and Jacobs School of Music Scholarship. She won several national competitions in South Korea by Korean-German Brahms Association, Eumakchunchoo, and Kyunghee University. She also has played as a soloist with orchestra including Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Millennium orchestra. Diana Moisejenkaite is a first-year doctoral candidate and violinist from Lithuania. She holds degrees from Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater and Norwegian Academy of Music. Diana studies with Dr. Walter Verdehr. Marina Hwang is currently pursuing her master’s degree in collaborative piano at Michigan State University under Dr. Zhihua Tang since Spring 2015. Now she is working in small ensembles and MSU Concert Orchestra. Before entering to MSU, she pursued her first master degree in piano performance at Eastern Illinois University, where she has studied with Dr. Susan Teicher and Dr. Jonathan Bowman. In addition to a busy performing career with instrumentalists and vocalists as the university's graduate collaborative pianist, she has performed in several theater productions and orchestral performances, including Carmina Burana. An active member of MTNA, she teaches at EIU's Community Music Program. Her career goals are to be a versatile pianist who enjoys musical life both as a solo performer, chamber musician, and teacher. Prior to coming to the US, Marina attended Hannam University in Korea where she studied Communication Arts, specializing in global communication and culture. She especially enjoyed journalism, photography, and anthropology courses, which helped her fall in love with the varied beauty of this world with its many different cultures, people, and their stories. Minjae Kim was originally born in South Korea. At the early age of five, her love for the art of piano began. After her Bachelor’s degree of music from Hanyang University, she advanced her studies to Michigan State University where she received graduate assistantship/scholarship throughout her Master’s and Doctoral program. Soobin Lee, born in 1988 in Seoul, Korea, studied piano performance at Yewon school and Seoul Arts High school. She pursued Bachelors and Masters degree at Indiana University Bloomington. She is now pursuing Doctoral degree in piano performance, and Masters degree in piano pedagogy at Michigan State University, working as teaching assistant. She is studying with Prof. Panayis Lyras.
