PepsiCo provides a variety of programs that give you access to expert medical advice and the best
quality of care. By focusing on the quality of care delivered, we aim to improve health outcomes
while managing costs. The following programs are available at no additional cost (except where
indicated) to those enrolled in the Healthy Advantage and Core Plus Medical Options.

Teladoc: Health Care Made Simple
Teladoc® gives you 24/7 access to U.S. board-certified doctors and pediatricians 365 days a year by
phone or secured online video. Teladoc doctors can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication* for
many types of medical conditions at a cost much lower than an urgent care facility or emergency
room. You can contact Teladoc to receive treatment for non-emergency medical conditions, such
as bronchitis, sore throat, allergies, ear infections, sinus problems, pink eye, cold and flu symptoms

Best Doctors: Expert Medical Advice at No Cost
If you are dealing with a complex medical condition, call Best Doctors to access the expert medical

Care Management: Helping You Manage
an Ongoing Health Condition
When it comes to your health, there are times when you may need a little extra help and professional
support. Maybe you have a chronic condition like diabetes or high blood pressure, or you’ve recently had
a health crisis such as a heart attack—or both. Maybe you’re pregnant, or you just got out of the hospital
following surgery. Whatever the case, the PepsiCo Care Management Program is here to help you.
Your medical plan carrier—Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS)or UnitedHealthcare (UHC)—
administers the Care Management Program. Your carrier is in the best position to identify any potential
need for special attention, because they process and track your medical and prescription drug claims.
Your carrier also has records of your Wellness Screening results.
Healthy Pregnancy: Delivering Support for Moms-to-Be
Expectant mothers should expect the best in health care—before, during and after pregnancy. That’s
why we offer the Healthy Pregnancy Program, a specialized program within Care Management (also
administered by your medical plan carrier) designed for all mothers-to-be. Your Health ACE nurse will
provide help and guidance on how to work with your doctor every step of the way—from prenatal
care through delivery and recovery. Don’t forget to download the free mobile app to track pregnancy

Cardiac and Joint Surgery Benefit With Johns Hopkins:
Surgical Excellence Wherever You Live
If you or a family member needs a certain type of cardiac surgery or a revision to a previous joint
replacement, you can travel to one of the best medical systems in the country, Johns Hopkins
Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Benefits include travel for the patient and a companion, plus
accommodations and a meal allowance. You’ll pay no deductible or coinsurance if enrolled in
the Core Plus Medical Option; if you’re in the Healthy Advantage Option, you must meet your

Health problems can occur any time of the day or night. The 24/7 NurseLine is designed to give you
information to help you with health care decision-making. Nurses on this toll-free telephone hotline
will talk confidentially with you about your symptoms, medications and side effects, when to go to
the doctor or emergency room, and other health-related issues.

Bariatric Surgery Centers of Excellence (COE)
Obesity is the root cause of many chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, heart
disease, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis and asthma, and increases the likelihood of various
types of cancers. If you and your doctor are discussing bariatric surgery to treat your obesity,
this program offers information and support both before and after surgery. Contact Health ACE

requirements and to locate a COE near you.
