 Sandpipers Beach Camp Registration Packet 2015 This packet contains the forms required to complete registration. 1. Go to the OGRCC website (www.myogrcc.org) and click on “Online Registration.” Log in with your username and password. If you have not already used our system go to 1.3 “Click here to create an account,” and follow the instructions. Add your children to your account to register them for programs. 2. Once you have logged into your account, select the appropriate session and age group. Make payment online. 3. Please fill out the following forms: a. Authorization for the administration of non-­‐prescription topical medication by camp personnel (for sunscreen & bug repellent) b. Island Beach Permission Slip c. Health Exam/Record form d. Authorization for the administration of medication by camp personnel (for regularly anticipated & prescribed medication ex. epi-­‐pens, asthma inhaler, only if necessary) e. Emergency Health Care Plan (For severe allergies which require epi-­‐pen and or Benadryl) f. Sandpipers Camp, licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health Services, offers arts, games, music, swimming, an expedition to Island Beach, and exploration of the natural beauty of coastal habitats. Camp days are Monday through Thursday. Friday is reserved for a rain dates. Session 4 is only open to campers who attended a previous session. Age as at April 1st 2015, no exceptions. Age

Location: Daily drop-­‐off and pick-­‐up will be at Tod’s Point behind the second concession stand (picnic area) Drop-­‐off will begin NO EARLIER than 9:20am and pick-­‐up is 2:30pm sharp Field Trips: Once a session campers will be going to Island Beach. On those days only pick up and drop off will be at the Island Beach Ferry Dock. (Located on Arch Street right off exit 3 on I-­‐
95) What to bring: Beach Bag, Towel, Bathing Suit, Camp T-­‐shirt, Sweatshirt or Jacket, Sneakers, Water, and Lunch in plastic zip-­‐lock bag with your child’s name on it (we need as much space as possible as we store lunches in a cooler box mandated by the State of Connecticut) Correspondence: Some correspondence will be made via e-­‐mail. Please make sure that your primary e-­‐mail is up to date under your OGRCC account. Reminders will be given by counselors of field trips and other activities planned.
