OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD The SWIM Group (Spirited Women in Missions) is collecting monthly items for the Christmas shoeboxes. A drop off box is located beside the Welcome Center. This month we are collecting small toys (yo-yo’s, jump ropes, marbles, etc.) for boys and girls ages 5-9. “Thank you” in advance for caring and supporting missions!! Church St. Place, Spartanburg (behind JD Byrider) Page 3 **Important Change** Beginning Wednesday, June 3rd Prayer Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Mission Friends, RA’s and GA’s will continue to meet at 7:00 p.m. and Choir Rehearsal will also begin at 7:00 p.m. ————————————————————— Starting June 7th, the Preschoolers and Children from ages 3 to 6th grade will meet in the gym on Sunday nights from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. for "Poplar Springs Summer Camp". We will have a Bible story and lots of fun until it’s time to join mom and dad at 6:00 p.m. for evening worship in the sanctuary. Preschool Choir and Children's Choir will resume in August. ————————————————— TeamKid is right around the corner. It will be June 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 10:00 a.m. till noon on each of these days. We need teachers this year to guide their class to each station. You will not have to prepare a lesson. We also need some help with crafts and in the gym. TeamKid is for ages 2 yrs. to 6th grade and is a wonderful ministry to children.
