Workday Projects We have a variety of projects— both skilled and unskilled. If you can walk and talk (not necessarily at the same time) there is something for you to do. Projects include, but are not limited to: Spreading pine straw Fixing up playground equipment Pressure washing both bridges to the tennis courts Cleaning entrance signs Sprucing up message boards Finish painting benches around pool area and cleaning rooms around the pool deck Other jobs to be determined Supplies such as plants, paint, pine straw, and some garden tools will be provided. So just wear comfortable clothes and shoes and come on down. However, if you have any tools you think might help, a tool belt or tool box, please feel free to bring them. Pool badges may be picked up at the clubhouse between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. You must be current on your dues to get your badges, but you may bring them up to date when you come to pick up your badges. There will be coffee and donuts in the morning, followed by lunch and beverages in the afternoon. REMEMBER: If you help out at work day, the pool will open at 2 p.m. for your family! Thanks so much! Pool News May 10th! It’s just around the corner. It’s almost time to remove the pool cover and pull out the furniture to start the process of getting the pool ready for opening day on May 10th. On May 9th, we will be having the annual Work Day and hope many of you can come out and help. We will also be handing out pool badges on that day. You must be in good standing with your association dues up to date in order to receive your badge. If you need to bring those dues up to date, Kelley Smith, our Treasurer, will be onsite to take your payment at the club house. Spring is such an exciting time here in Woodbine Station! We have some great improvement projects going on and pool season is right around the corner. Please mark May 9th on your calendar for Woodbine Workday. We need YOU to help spruce up the place to prepare for all the wonderful outdoor time we will have this summer. We do have several member accounts that are more than a year past due. If you would like to discuss your account and putting together a plan to get you caught up over time, please contact me. I’m happy to work on a plan to get you back into an actively involved state! Dues for 2015 remain at $114 a quarter. We appreciate all who can pay their whole year’s dues of $456 in advance.
