CONFIGURATION
The SAL 35 linear slot diffuser is
comprised of a profile of extruded
aluminum (1) with an additional
profile, narrow or wide (2), eccentric
cylinders (3) sliding into the profile and
revolving a full 360°, and a plenum (4)

The eccentric cylinder (3), with optimized acoustics and aeraulics, has, on its axis, aside from multiple
profiles directing the airstream (5), a reading and setting disk (6) on which alphanumerical characters are
inscribed. The characters on this disk define and reproduce the cylinders setting at will.
The profiles on the plenum are fastened by rivets for suspended ceiling applications and by a central
screw for gypsum ceilings.

Opening in the gypsum
With the table against, find the distance necessary to do
an opening in the gypsum
Install the plenum
Although anchor pins ceiling suspension taking
careful to measure the height of the suspension and
the dimensions of the plenum.
- The suspension rods must be aligned with the holes
provided for this purpose on the top of the plenum.
- As Drawing indicates "A", installed in the plenum
adjusting its height so that the opening receiving
the diffuser is flush to the ceiling.
Install the diffuser
By simply pressing gently insert the diffuser (B and C).
Secure it with the screws provided for this purpose (D).

INSTALLATION IN A “T-BAR” CEILING
Determining the precise location of the "T-BAR ".
Use the table below to determine the distance between them.

The lengths of the diffusers are standard size, or for
ceiling tiles with a 24 "or 48".
Lengths center / center between supports should be
609 mm in the case of a tile 24 " and in the case of 1 219 mm
a tile 48 ".
Other lengths can be manufactured to special order.
To do this, calculate the length c / c between the supports (T-Bar)
subtract 6mm.
Installation of the diffuser
The diffuser is mounted at the factory on the plenum.
Place the diffuser and the plenum in place prior
substrates prepared from "T-Bar".
Installation of suspension
Although anchor pins for ceiling taking good
carefully measure the height of the suspension and

The suspension rods must be aligned with holes
for this purpose on the top of the plenum.

A) Aperture in the gypsum
With the table, find the distance necessary
to make an aperture in the gypsum
Aperture = total length of the plenum X
the number corresponding to the table below.

B) Install the plenum
As shown in the drawing at right,
install the plenum by adjusting its height so
that the receiving opening diffuser is flush
to the ceiling
C) Install the diffuseur
By pressing gently, insert the diffuser.
Secure it with the screws provided for
this purpose.

INSTALLATION IN SUSPENSION
A) Installation des tiges de suspension
Well anchored suspension rods threaded M4 - M5
(not provided) to the ceiling, taking care
measuring the height of the suspension and
the dimensions of the plenum.
The suspension rods must be aligned
the holes provided for this purpose and located on
the top of the plenum.

B) Installer le plenum
As shown on illustration A, install the plenum
using holes located on top of diffuser.
C) Installer le diffuseur
Install diffuser introducing the wall of the plenum
in the side brackets of the diffuser (see illustration B).
Align the diffuser as directed on page 6.
Fix the diffuser with screws provided for this purpose..

MAINTENANCE
The diffuser SAL35 of NAD Klima requires no
special maintenance other than periodic
cleaning.
We recommend cleaning the diffuser with a
multi-filament brush or duster microfiber that
you will pass softly on the diffuser. Thermolacquered finish for easy cleaning of the diffuser
as dust does not stick to it.
When cleaning, gently move the brush or duster
in the same direction of the rollers so as not to
change their adjustment.

A specialized technician in balancing air is
qualified to restore the adjustment of the rollers to
its initial position. To do this, he must have access to
initial data and requirements engineering and
follow the instructions provided in this manual
at page 2.

If, during the cleaning of the diffuser SAL35,
a displacement of the direction of the airflow occurs,
it becomes important to replace them in the
original position to maintain the full effectiveness
of your diffuser.
