Introducing our new CEO
May I introduce NAPAC’s new Chief Executive. Her name is Gabrielle Shaw and she
started yesterday. Gabrielle has extensive experience in the charitable sector and has
also held a senior role at CEOP – the Child Exploitation and Online Protection
Agency. Hopefully in time you will meet her but I thought a brief introduction was
appropriate. I am not leaving NAPAC, but I am changing roles to one of ‘Founder and
Spokesperson’.
As you know I am deeply involved in a number of external initiatives including the
Pope’s commission for the protection of minors, the Office of the Children’s
Commissioner inquiry into intra-familial sexual abuse and I sit on the advisory board
of ‘Stop it Now’! I also hope to continue my work with the Catholic safeguarding
people in England and Wales.
So, I am no longer the CEO. It feels a little strange after all these years but in
Gabrielle I know we have a new, energized leader who will help take this amazing
charity to new heights.
