Traditionally poor attendance at these types of programs
Students:
All freshman take a practice PSAT
Parents:
Receive a copy of their student’s score by attending the
program

• Program is held in January prior to students scheduling
for their sophomore year.
• TRIUMPH Software is used to administer the PSAT in
the fall.
• Tests are administered online; Scantron option available.
• ALL students except for certain special education
students take the test.
• Teachers can review individual or total group results to
determine areas of weakness or strengths.

60-75% of families generally attend the program!
The Program:

Explains HPOs and high demand careers.
 Provides examples of four year tuition & board costs.
 Provides examples of two year & certificate program
costs.
 Displays a spectrum of SAT entry scores for a range
of four-year schools.
 Explains their child’s PSAT score.
