2015 NCCAF Badminton Open for Team Game (Open to Public)

Team Competitions of U19, 40-, 40+, 50+, family, open to public
(1) U19 Team: Under 19 years old
(2) 40- Team:
Open for all ages.
(3) 40+ Team;
Male player’s minimum age is 40. Women player’s minimum age is 30.
(4) 50+ Team:
Male player’s minimum age is 50. Women player’s minimum age is 40.
(5) Family Team: Open for all ages, must be direct family members (ie. grand-parent, parent, children)
Game Rules:
World Badminton Association rules apply to all the events. Use 21 points system for all the matches. Teams that
are late by 10 min. will be disqualified. 5 minutes warm-up allowed prior to each match. Each player will be
responsible for his/her own feather shuttlecocks/birdies and rackets for each competition.
Competitions will be held in Team Format. Flights are determined by the minimum age of the male players of each
team. Each player can only participate/compete in one age group. Every player can play a maximum of two
nd
matches. However, same partnering team can only compete in 1 match (needs to change partner for 2 match).
For age groups of U19, 40- and 40+ team, winning team needs to win three out of five matches. Each team must
compete for five matches which consist of:
1 Singles (male or female), 2 Doubles (2 male or 2 female) & 2 Mixed Doubles
For age groups of 50+, teams, winning team needs to win three out of five matches. Each team must compete for
five matches which consist of:
3 Doubles (2 male or 2 female) & 2 Mixed Doubles
For age groups of family team, winning team needs to win two out of three matches. Each team must compete for
five matches which consist of:
- 1 Singles (male or female), 2 doubles (Any Mixed Doubles or Doubles- male or female).
Each team should have at least 5 but no more than 9 team players (family team should have 3-5 players). All
matches will be scheduled by NCCAF. NCCAF and its officials reserve the right to check player’s identification for
each Team Competition. In the event of identical matches result, each single winning (match) point awarded to the
team will be used to determine the final champion.

3. Teams are only qualified to play once we receive both registration form and payment.
Fees:
$150.00 for all age group teams except for family team ($100).Extra $20.00 for late registration (after 5/30/2015).
Registration Deadline: May 30, 2015, 11:00 p.m. Note that all team captains or vice captains must attend meeting at
2:30 p.m. (@ CBA) on June 7, 2015. No new registration will be accepted after the draw.
Awards:
First place team: One team trophy & monetary prize for the team and medals for each team player.
Second place and third place teams: Medals for each team player.
