NCRC Community News & Announcements May 4, 2015 "Alternative Commuting" The Commuter Challenge MAY 1 - 31 The Commuter Challenge is a fun, free alternative commuting competition that is a great way to save money, reduce your carbon footprint and get fit. NCRC Commuter Challenge Raffle! Did you ride the bus, bike, carpool or walk to work? Enter the NCRC Commuter Challenge Raffle at any of our five NCRC reception entrances to win one of five $50 Kroger Gift Cards! Every time you complete the challenge you may enter for a chance to win throughout the month of May! Ann Arbor Commuter Challenge Employees can sign up for the 2015 Commuter Challenge now at www.LetsMakeaMove.org and begin logging alternative commutes. Employees who participate in the Challenge will be able to see the miles traveled, C02 reduced, and other statistics for themselves and their organization throughout the Challenge. Organizations with the highest participation in their employee size category will win a worksite party. Any employee who logs at least one commute gets free ice cream. Ann Arbor Commuter Challenge Events Bus to Work Week: May 4-10 Prize Wednesdays: May 6, 13, 27 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Pick up your prizes based on the badges you’ve earned so far. Prize pick-up location: Blake Transit Center On May 27, you can also stop by the UMHS Towsley Triangle to pick up your prize.
