The 2015 NDEDIC EDI Summit brings together a
large network of leaders in the dental industry

dental care through use of electronic commerce.
Join this network of leaders from May 4-6, 2015 at the
Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona
and REiMAGiNE the dental industry together. NDEDIC

& Chair of the Board of Eliza Corporation

8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Sponsored by: Elsevier
Our 2015 EDI Summit keynote speaker is stimulating
communicator, Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14
Tomcat pilot. Her experience working in fast moving
environments requiring split second decision-making
skills, where inconsistent execution can generate
catastrophic results, has led to her mastery of the
fundamentals that can help any team triumph swiftly
under pressure, in high-risk situations.
Lohrenz is uniquely qualified as both a motivational and
inspirational speaker who focuses on the importance
of fearless leadership and team performance. Her
experience in the all-male environment of fighter aviation
and missions completed worldwide as a combat United
States Navy pilot has enabled her to share valuable
lessons learned with personal insight from a credible
platform.
Lohrenz is the author of Fearless Leadership: HighPerformance Lessons from the Flight Deck, where she walks
readers through the three fundamentals a leader must
possess to exhibit real fearlessness: courage, tenacity, and
integrity. Since leaving the Navy, Lohrenz has worked with
thousands of business leaders, from Fortune 500 executives
to middle managers, helping countless teams flourish.
In her most recent role, Drane served as chief
visionary officer and chair of the board of Eliza
Corporation and was named one of the Disruptive
Women in HealthCare’s Women to Watch in 2014.
She is a leader who believes that big challenges
require big risks – as well as the humility to
understand when something isn’t working, and
to learn from those experiences. Drane is one
of the most sought-after speakers and has
keynoted at high-visibility industry events,
including TEDMED, Health 2.0, Strata Rx,
MedicineX and more.
