Antique Car Parade 2015

Dear Antique and Classic Car Enthusiast:
On behalf of The Buffalo Bill Kiwanis and NEBRASKAland DAYS, I would
like to invite you to participate in the 2015 Antique and Classic Car Parade.
This year’s parade will be on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 12:00 NOON (CDT).
The Antique and Classic Car Parade has become a feature of the
NEBRASKAland DAYS. We will be attracting entrants from all parts of
Nebraska. It is our decision not to judge, but to have strictly an Antique, Special
Interest, Car Show and Parade. These beautiful cars are truly of interest to
young and old alike. Once again, “Dash Plaques” will be given to all entrants;
Best of the Show Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The Antique Car Parade will begin at Memorial Park where there is room
for loading, unloading and parking trailers. If at all possible, we would appreciate
having your automobile at the line-up area by 8:00 A.M. so it can be on display
for a few hours prior to the start of the parade. The line-up area will be in
Memorial Park in the 100 block of East 4th Street. Please use the Bryan Avenue
entrance located on the East side of the park. Cars will be lined up in the order
that they arrive at the park and check in.
Please notice there is a $5.00 entry fee per car will be charged for
pre-registration and $10.00 per car the day of the parade. Return the
enclosed entry blank and your entry fee by June 1, 2015. We sincerely hope
that you will plan to enter your vehicle. Should you need more entry blanks,
please feel free to contact the NEBRASKAland DAYS office at 308-532-7939.
You are invited to enter as many cars in the parade as you wish. The larger the
parade… the better it will be. If you know of anyone who would like to be part of
the 2015 parade, please let us know and we will send them the needed
information.
See you on June 19th for a great Antique and Classic Car Parade. Let’s
be a part of the 51st year of the “Official State Celebration.”
Sincerely,
Jim Catterson

BUFFALO BILL KIWANIS ANTIQUE CAR DISPLAY AND PARADE
FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2015
Dear Parade Entrant:
The Buffalo Bill Kiwanis Club would like to thank all who have chosen to enter
their vehicles in our past year’s display and parade. We will again have a $5.00
entry fee for all vehicles that pre-register and $10.00 for those registering at the
park on parade day. Part of the fee will go to offset the rising cost for the
placards and other costs associated with putting on the display and parade. Any
additional monies remaining after expenses will go to charitable service projects
undertaken by the Buffalo Bill Kiwanis in and around the North Platte area.
The following are some of the Buffalo Bill Kiwanis projects your fees will
help support:
Scholarships to Mid-Plains Community College
Working with handicapped youth and young adults
Providing picnics for handicapped youth and young adults
Purchasing Trauma Kits for North Platte and surrounding communities’ EMT
Units
Donations to Mid-Plains Community College
Donations to the Veterans’ Memorial
