Call to Worship
(Please stand if comfortable doing so)
O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.
Sing praises to the LORD, and give thanks to his holy name.
For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
You have turned my mourning into dancing;
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
Prayer of Invocation
We gather together this morning at the river. We know that wherever we
are, You are with us. We raise up our voices in great joy, singing our
praises to you dear Lord. As we end our week in worship, we ask for your
guidance in focusing our attention on you, more than just once a week.
Help us to live for and in You daily. Amen.

Offertory Prayer
God, in presenting an offering as part of our worship we are bringing
something of what we have achieved or been given, and we offer it back
to you as the source from whom all good things come. We pray that these
gifts would be used through our churches to declare and demonstrate the
amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the extravagant love we know of
you as our creator, and the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, alive
and awake within us and ministering through us. Amen.
