Call to Worship
* Hymn: “Alleluia, alleluia, give thanks to the risen Lord” #260
Opening Prayer:
Gracious and loving God, you are above all our expectations, beyond our imaginations, and outside all our understanding. Your love finds the lost, liberates the captive,
heals the broken hearted, and sees the forgotten. You live
and reign in heaven and earth, but we often lead lives that
are away from your rule. You offer light to live by and yet
we love the shadows. You extend unconditional love, but
we reject our neighbours. Your way leads to life; our ways
are touched with sin, and our love and commitment is
shallow. Forgive us and recreate us in the image of your
loving and beloved son. Amen.
Pastoral Prayer & Lord’s Prayer (debts ….debtors)
Choir Anthem: "As the Deer Panteth for the Water"
Blessing
WE HEAR GOD'S WORD
Hymn of Preparation:
Lead me, Lord, lead me in your righteousness; make your
way plain before my face; for it is you, and you, God only,
who makes me to dwell in safety.

Prayer of Dedication
Holy God, we desire to be sanctified in your grace like
the disciples whom Jesus commissioned with your word.
Open our hearts and our hands to respond to giving
appeals in a generous manner. Give us the courage
to embrace a lifestyle centered in your teaching, rather
than one dictated by marketing trends or unhealthy
spending habits. We offer you these gifts as an act of
responding to you in faith. Amen.

Response: Go now in peace (Besig/Price)
Go now in peace, never be afraid
God will go with you each hour of every day.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know He will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love, and show you believe,
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there, watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith and in love.
