 SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Neoscape is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to work with Creative, Production,
Project Coordinator and Sales teams to supervise project management tasks and systems
including the recommendation of new processes and technology to improve the performance of
the studio as a whole. As part of this role, the successful candidate will manage a team of Project
Coordinators located in our Boston and New York studios.
Additionally, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects from kickoff to completion while ensuring client satisfaction, meeting all schedule milestones, and
delivering within the approved budgets. Through skilled organization and coordination of tasks,
attention to detail, and strong communication skills, the Senior Project Manager will guide the
production of the agency’s creative services by providing a continuous flow of project
information between internal and external teams. Some travel is required.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
•
5+ years experience in direct client communications, working with and delivering to
external clients
•
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Degree in Business Administration, Fine Arts, Studio
Art, or Architecture a plus
•
2 - 3+ years of project management and scheduling of multiple tasks for multiple
clients and projects
•
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking
in a fast-paced, demanding environment
•
Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking and accurate
•
Flexible, dedicated, and able to work with minimal supervision
•
Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking
•
Basic understanding and/or experience in 3D visualization, film production, print,
or interactive media a plus
•
Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player
•
Expertise in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCad and 3D software a plus
•
Sense of humor, confidence, and common sense
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Accountable for the execution, management and quality control of multiple complex
projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, meeting all timeline
milestones, and delivering within the approved budget.

Serve as main client interface on projects, clarify strategic requirements, explain
complex ideas clearly, and manage expectations

Institute and evolve project management and production processes to improve
current workflow
•
Supervise and maintain project management software/system
•
Determine team use and potential software updates for project management system
•
Conduct and lead weekly meetings with production heads and project coordinators to
set weekly goals and prioritize production schedules
•
Develop and document project parameters including scope, schedule, budgets,
specifications
•
Create, update, and monitor project plans for all projects
•
Closely monitor budgets, establish project plans and processes to avoid and/or
resolve scope creep, budget overages, or efficiency issues
•
Work closely with Sales to report on all aspects of each project including meetings,
change orders, and specific client requests
•
Work with Principals, Production and Sales to evaluate bandwidth for new work
•
Conduct and lead kick-off and status meetings regularly with clients and the internal
team, ensure thorough communication with all stakeholders at all stages of every
project
•
Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes to allow for smooth
execution of projects and improved efficiency across departments and project team
members
•
Identify, create and capitalize on opportunities to contribute to the company’s growth
and profitability
