The new building is conceived of as two distinct spaces, each with sloping, green roofs that are accessible. Building 201 is moved to its permanent location on the west side of Halleck Street and rehabilitated by the Presidio Parkway (Doyle Drive) project. 210 is rehabilitated as the new Presidio Visitor Center under a separate Trust action. 215 remains the Transit Center. Concept 3 includes three overlooks. A small, east-facing amphitheater offers seating and space for performances. The plaza is expanded to provide a gathering area west of the Visitor Center features seating areas and a fire pit.
