Tanta University Acknowledges the Loss of Two Students from Faculty of
Specific Education
With profound grief and great sorrow Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek
Khalil, Tanta University President, vice presidents, teaching staff, students
and employees acknowledge the loss of University two female students from
Faculty of Specific Education who met their end in a terrible accident on the

road of Tanta- Al Mahalla. The University offers heartfelt condolences to
their families. May Allah make their abode in His spacious gardens and
bestow upon the injured a speedy recovery.
Forty Thousand Pounds to Each one of the Deceased from the University in
Al Mahalla Accident
Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek Khalil, Tanta University President,
decided to disburse 40 thousand pounds to the families of the two students
Samaa Mohammed Abdel Halim Basyouni and Yasmin Mohammed AlAwadi Al-Dosoki, the deceased of the University in the tragic traffic accident
that took place yesterday on the road of Tanta - Al Mahalla. This sum is
from the insurance offered by the University to students’ families in case of
death in an accident. In addition, he gave directions to complete the
procedures of disbursing money according to the disability percentage of the
injured students quickly.
This occurred during the visit University President and Prof. Mohsen
Makshat, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, paid
to be reassured about the health condition of the injured students at Tanta
University Hospitals after they had been referred from Al-Menshawi
General Hospital. He ordered to give them intensive medical care so that they
could recover in a short time. The University will bear the expenses of
treatment and the medical requirements needed for them.

A Symposium on "Student's Psychological Stress" at Tanta Faculty of
Medicine
The Scientific Association for Faculty of Medicine Students at Tanta
University organized a symposium on "Student's Psychological Stress"
on Monday, March 30, 2015 in Ibn Sina Hall where a lecture was given by
Prof. Gamal Shama, Professor at Department of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He spoke about the symptoms of anxiety and stress and how to get rid of
them during days of exams. Prof. Ahmed Abdel Sattar, Professor at
Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxins, spoke about the
dangers of caffeine and stimulants as well as the correct methods of studying
and understanding.
Approval for the Draft Schedule of Periodical Exams in the Second Term at
Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy
Faculty of Pharmacy Council at Tanta University ratified the approval for
the draft schedule of periodical exams in the second term of the academic

year 2014-2015 in its seventh session in the academic year 2014-2015 that was
held on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Faculty Vice Dean is authorized to consider
any amendments that may be introduced to the schedule in the future.

Military Education Administration at Tanta University announced
organizing exceptional military education courses during the second term of
the academic year 2014-2015 because the military stages are going to begin

Cultural Salon for Finding our Students’ Talents at Tanta University
Faculty of Specific Education witnessed the closing ceremony of the second
cultural salon that was held to discover students’ talents in the fields of fine
arts, short stories, solo singing, solo music playing, standard poetry and Zajal
in attendance of Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek Khalil, Tanta University
President.
He assured keenness of the University on discovering artistic and literary

talents and giving due care to them as that had an influence on refining
public taste, changing negative behavior styles and protecting students
against extreme ideas.
In addition, he honored participant students who won first ranks in different
competitions.
Organizing Chess Competition at Tanta Faculty of Law
Student Welfare Administration at Faculty of Law announced holding a
chess competition in the academic year 2014-2015 from Wednesdayt, March
25, 2015 to Thursday, April 2, 2015. Winners of the first, second and third

ranks will be chosen for participation in the chess competition at the level of
the republic.

Faculty of Physical Education Female Students Win the Third Rank in the
Competition of Sport Performances at the Level of Specialized Faculties
Female Students of Faculty of Physical Education won the third rank in the
competition of sport performances at the level of specialized faculties. The
competition was held on Monday, March 23, 2015 in the covered hall at the
Olympic club in Alexandria governorate as part of the final of sport

performances organized by Ministry of Youth and Sport. Students had been
