June 9—Hastings, Prairie Loft Pavilion

Trees play an important role in our community forests
and provide many benefits, but as they age they also
began to create risk which communities must manage.
Hear from experts Scott Grimes of the Colorado Tree
Coalition in North Platte, and Skip Kinkaid in Hastings
and Lincoln. Learn how to determine if trees are low or
high risk for failure and how to care for them.
Recommended for parks workers, school
maintenance staff, groundskeepers and anyone working
with or responsible for tree care so they can better
evaluate tree health and risk.
Please bring a hard hat and safety vest.
