Noba Vital range - Noba Dry Vital Pure
Noba BV has developed the Noba Vital range for the
stabilization of the intestinal microflora, the
strengthening of the animal intestinal barrier and for the
overall positive influence it has on animal physiology.
Animals that are full of vitality are better armed against
infection and illness, they have a more resilient immune
system and they need less antibiotics. Noba Dry Vital Pure
The Noba Vital range is extended with Noba Dry Vital
Pure. Noba has positive experiences with the liquid Vital
products, like Noba Vital Plus, Noba Vital Pure and Noba
Vital Pro. Based upon this experience Noba decided to
develop Noba Dry Vital Pure, a powder product. Noba Dry
Vital Pure is a product with a special combination of
medium-chain fatty acids.
Product caracteristics
Noba Dry Vital Pure is a free flowing powder and is dust
free. It is easy to handle and easy to dose, also in smaller
inclusions in the feed. It is also possible to mix Noba Dry
Vital Pure together with other dry additives or raw
materials before adding it into the mixer. Anti-microbial effect
Scientific research performed by Noba has shown that
Noba Vital Pure has a positive effect on the goblet cells in
the villi. These goblet cells produce intestinal mucous,
and mucous has a protective and anti-bacterial function. Noba Dry Vital Pure contains C8, C10 and also C12 fatty

In the specialist literature, we read that C8 and C10 fatty
acids have a strong inhibiting effect on gram-negative
bacteria (e.g., E. Coli and Salmonella) and that C12 fatty
acids have a strong inhibiting effect on gram-positive
bacteria (e.g., Clostridia and Streptococcus). Noba Dry
Vital Pure has a high concentration of medium-chain fatty
acids. This means that these products are highly antimicrobial. Noba Dry Vital Pure has high levels of free fatty
acids (FFA). This means that the Noba Dry Vital Pure is
very easily digestible; the free fatty acids are directly
absorbed in the intestinal tract. Tests have shown that
Noba Vital Pure improves growth and feed conversion
while decreasing mortality. A practical test with piglets
has shown that Noba Vital Pure decreases ear necrosis
and mortality. The higher the dosage, the lower the
mortality.
