1937 – The foundation
Otto Nolden establishes the company in 1937 as a classic workshop.
1970ʼs – The 2nd generation
In the mid seventies the business areas were transferred to the two sons Franz and Karl-Otto Nolden jun.. Together with the sunroof installation business the
company further expanded the elimination of transport damage for vehicle importers.
1990ʼs – Variety and carbon seat heater systems
At the beginning of the nineties the demand for specific product groups such as anti-theft devices, alarm systems, radio modules and snow chains changed.
The third generation
At the end of the nineties, the son of Franz Nolden, Dipl. Ing. Oliver Nolden joined the company as acting partner. With the take-over of the activities of GABEL, the
company pushed further in the area of vehicle lights and added the distribution of aftermarket products from Zizala/ZKW. Listed as the supplier for various models
of the FORD WERKE KÖLN. The turn of the millennium – further development
With the presentation of the first 70- and 87 mm halogen headlights the NOLDEN CARS & CONCEPTS GmbH developed its own headlight system for the first time.
the mid 2000s
the company established the partnership with Microlight in Taiwan.
2007 - Trendsetter
The worldwide first LED daylight running lamp was the result of the joint efforts and the development offensive with Microlight. Listed with DAIMLER and
CHRYSLER and has developed into a supplier that is in demand worldwide.
2011 - Consistent
Since its market introduction with the NCC, LEDs are the subject of intensive discussions on modern lighting. At the end of 2011, NOLDEN CARS & CONCEPTS
GmbH realigns its sales activities and puts a more intensive focus on the promising area of headlights. With a qualified offensive personnel development of qualified
staff members there is also a great achievement potential for the NCC in the truck, bus and motorhome segments.

In our core areas of headlight and lamps we will further expand our competence in the area of work-lights and infrared lights, as well for electronic devices.
