The 2015 Young Writers’ Festival Come join us for the annual Northern California Young Writers’ Festival: Imagination on the Page. The Festival will be a week-long celebration of the art of writing, where our young writers will participate in exciting activities and projects. All writers will receive a festival T-shirt and publication. Come and share your writing with new friends and have fun! When: Where: Who: Cost: July 20-July 24, 2015 Chico Country Day School 102 West 11th Street Students Entering Grades 3 – 7 $175.00 per child* *We are usually able to offer reduced cost to lower-income families. To apply for this, please include a brief, explanatory request in your child’s application. Availability of reduced costs will be awarded in the order received. Daily Schedule Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 11:30 am Writing and short walking trips around Chico. 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Lunch. On Tuesday and Thursday, we eat at local restaurants. 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Art and drama activities. Work on final drafts for the publication. Friday 9 am – noon Same as above. Noon - 1:30 pm CELEBRATION! Parents and friends are invited to attend a reading and party.
