Position Description
Position Title: Amphitheater Box Office Staff
Reports to: Box Office Manager & House Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent money handling and reconciliation skills. Knowledgeable and
comfortable with cross platform computer programs, credit card machines, and
calculators. Previous experience in customer service or sales preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
! Aiding patrons with accurate performance information and assisting them
in purchasing and/or picking up tickets
! Problem-solve by effectively communicating with patrons to establish their
needs efficiently and courteously
! Accurately operate Total Info computer ticketing system and KISS
ticketing machine to sell tickets to the general public
! Responsible for safe keeping of all box office money for each performance
! Reconciles tickets and cash/credit card sales at end of shift
! Prepares deposit slip for box office
! Understands ticket pricing system and any requirements to obtain those
ticket prices
! Keeps track of blank ticket stock to ensure always enough for next
performance
! Communicates as necessary with house manager and managing director
Part-time summer position, hours vary depending on performance schedule and
staffing needs. June 1 through August 29, 2015.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30 - 8:45 pm (approximate)
Wednesday and Saturday 4:30 - 9:30 (approximate)

Position Title: Box Office Staff
Reports to: Box Office Manager & Managing Director
Overview:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide patrons with a positive
initial experience at Northern Sky Theater. This experience is created by aiding
patrons with accurate performance information and assisting them in purchasing
and/or picking up tickets to Northern Sky performances and merchandise items.
This position is expected to work cohesively with all employees of the Northern
Sky Theater in maintaining a high level of patron service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work in a
fast paced environment. Excellent money handling and reconciliation skills.
Knowledgeable and comfortable with cross platform computer programs, credit
card machines, and calculators. Previous experience in customer service or
sales preferred.

! Problem-solve by effectively communicating with patrons to locate the
office and/or theater and pick up of tickets
! Accurately operate Total Info computer ticketing system to sell tickets for
performances and events
! Understands ticket pricing system and any requirements to obtain those
ticket prices
! Provide information regarding the Northern Sky Theater performances and
theatre via face-to-face communication and telephone
! Communicate positively with patrons to establish their needs efficiently
and courteously
! Check condition of lobby/restroom, and clean as necessary
! Collaborate with supervisor (Box Office Manager) and other Office Staff
! Handle cash responsibly and accurately
! Participate in daily financial and ticket reconciliations at end of shift
! Process merchandise sales, as needed
! Assist with miscellaneous projects, as directed
Position Title: Box Office Staff
Part-time position, hours vary depending on performance schedule and staffing
needs. May 18 through October 17, 2015.
Box Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm (approximate)
Saturday 9:30am - 4:30pm (approximate)
