The Northport Yacht Club is primarily a volunteer organization. We try to provide a wide variety of fun
activities that the entire Bayside community can enjoy. In order for these events to happen, we need
your help! Please take a moment to consider the opportunities listed below, which are Annually
Scheduled Events and the Additional Opportunities noted on the next page. Please check off
any that might interest you. This is not a commitment at this time, but merely a promise that you
will get a call when the event draws near… those who have worked for the club in the past agree that
this is a great way to establish new friendships and reinforce old ones. Come join the fun!

Additional Opportunities
Several of the yacht club projects stretch over several weekends. You are always welcome to help out, whether
you commit to a whole season or just to one day. Please indicate below items that might interest you, and the
event organizer will be in touch with you.
□General meetings (set up, help with food, clean up)
□Dock Crew for Racing (signal start and finishes, record times, handle flags, fire cannon)
□Sell NYC Merchandise (at specific events or at the clubhouse at specific times)
□Club Maintenance (minor repairs, painting, mowing, watering plant boxes, etc.)
□Assist in organizing the Northport Junior Yacht Club’s Summer Events
