The North Wildwood Recreation Department is pleased to announce their Captain Kidd
Pirates Day event that will take place on Saturday, May 2 nd. Captain Kidd landed on the
shore of North Wildwood and children have happily uncovered mass amounts of
treasure he left behind for over 25 years.
The Captain Kidd Pirate Parade will begin at 11am at 26th & the Boardwalk. Children
ages 12 and under are invited to come dressed in pirate attire to participate in the
parade. Parade Check-In and Judging will take place from 10am-10:45am. The parade
will step off at 11am. The parade will head north to 19th & Beach where the Treasure
Hunt will be held. Registration for the Treasure Hunt is not required.
Prizes will be awarded for best pirate costumes and at the end of treasure hunt a raffle
will take place that includes weekend stays, bikes, gift certificates, and a $500 cash
prize. To register for the Pirate Parade or for more information please call the
