NourKids Today… The Children’s Satellite of Tele Lumiere
NourKids starts officially today its broadcast as a new satellite of Tele Lumiere, in a ceremony at Théatre Athénée - Jounieh, under the high patronage of the
Minister of Information Ramzi Jreij, and
in partnership with the Higher Council for
Childhood and Georges N. Frem Foundation. Tele Lumiere had the desire to offer
to the children all over the world, on their day,
a new satellite to transmit their dreams, express their thoughts and to be a tribune used by them to transmit
their voice from Lebanon to the whole world, amidst the media crowd that is distorting often the values,
morals and citizenship. So this channel will be a space of peace that gives back innocence to the childhood
and establishes the culture of love and the civilization of peace, through a grid encompassing a variety of
cultural, educational, entertaining, artistic and sports programs… in addition to wonderful cartoons telling
stories from the Gospel, the saints’ life journeys that develop in the children’s hearts the seeds of faith, dramas presenting life matters, besides clips,
pastoral activities, schools’ ceremonies and entertaining games. NourKids will also allow the children to prepare and present their own programs,
consequently the channel works through and to them, grows with them, so that innocence has its own channel.

Maronite Appointments
The Extraordinary Synod held by the Maronite Patriarchal See and presided over by

Bishop Maroun al-Ammar supervisor of the distribution of justice in our Maronite courts in Lebanon and the Patriarchal scope, succeeding
Bishop Hanna Alwan, who was elected by the Bishops of the dioceses as the supervisor of Unified Maronite Tribunal of 1st Instance.
Two Bishops were also elected to participate with the Patriarch in the Synod of Bishops for the Family and both names are submitted to the Pope
to appoint and declare them, as well as a Bishop who was chosen from the members of the Synod, seeking his appointment by the Pope as an
Apostolic Visitor to the Maronites of Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
