The next Nutley Irish meeting will be March 19th at 8pm at the VFW Post 493, 271 Washington Avenue. New members welcome! An Abundance of Gratitude! The Nutley Irish Officers and Trustees would like to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and all of the events surrounding the pa‐
rade a huge success. This year we had yet another fine set of dignitaries that worked hard to represent the Nutley Irish well. All of the parade events went off without a hitch including the Dignitary Fundraiser, the Pub Tour, the Investiture Mass, the Parade, the Post Parade Party, the Newark Parade, and the West Orange Parade. These events don’t run themselves, and there are so many people who stepped up to make them what they were. This winter’s multiple storms tried to put a damper on our events, but it didn’t happen. It has been said numerous times by various people that this year has been the best year for Nutley Irish’s events, and we believe the en‐
tire membership has something to be proud of for helping to contribute to it. Relay for Life Strike Out Autism The Scarpelli Civic Association will be having their 5th Annual Strike Out Au‐
tism Event. This will be at Brunswick Olympic Bowl on April 10th from 10pm to 1am. Teams are of up to 6 people. Tickets are $35 and include Beer, Soda, Pizza and Popcorn For more infor‐
mation please call 973‐235‐0703 Its less than 2 months until the Relay for Life of Nut‐
ley and the Nutley Irish team has already raised al‐
most $3,500 for the American Cancer Society. Brenda Sherman is our team captain and is currently recruit‐
ing people to be on the relay team. With the help of her committee, she has been organizing multiple events to help fundraise for the Relay. Be on the lookout for more information regarding these events. perishable food items to be donated to the St. Mary’s food pantry to the meeting. Upcoming Events April 10th—Scarpelli May 2nd—Nutley PBA Beefsteak May 15th - Relay for Life
