St. Albert Public Schools is pleased to announce that Marianne Barrett will be joining our senior administration team in the position of Associate Superintendent, Program and Planning, effective August 1, 2015. Marianne joins us from Elk Island Public Schools, where she has served in a variety of roles, including teacher, principal and most recently Director of Early Learning, Planning and Reporting. Our current Associate Superintendent of Program and Planning, Krimsen Sumners, will be moving into the Deputy Superintendent position following the retirement of current Deputy Superintendent Doug McDavid at the end of August, 2015. We thank Doug for the leadership he has shown during his eight years with our district and wish him well in his retirement, and we look forward to welcoming Marianne and Krimsen to their new roles.
