Batter Up!: If there is anyone who would like to step up to the plate in serving this church body, now is the time! We are down a few players and are in need of some help. We could use a few additional adult and youth volunteers for the nursery who can commit to volunteering approximately four Sunday mornings per year. That’s not so bad, is it? Or, how about becoming a moderator? This is a great way to “step out of your comfort zone” by welcoming everyone, sharing with the congregation any additional announcements and leading us in corporate prayer. Maybe, you just want to have fun and hang out with the kids in Kidzone. Well, we can arrange that, and would love to have you! We could use a few teachers/helpers. There is a need for all of these areas, so please consider “joining the team”. We would so appreciate it. If you want to work in the nursery then talk to Mindi Good, as a moderator, talk to Kristi Niehof or in Kidzone, talk to Sue Birky. Child Protection training is required to work with the kids, so please keep that in mind. Thank You! Sprucing Up: There are several lamp posts in our church parking lot that need to be attended to. Some have bulbs that are burned out and need changing and all of the white globes need cleaning. Nick Moyer and Jeff Tomich will be here at 8 am on Wednesday April 1st to work on this and request the help of anyone who is willing to lend a hand at this tedious task. If you think you can help in this very simple way, please contact Nick Moyer. Supplies & Volunteers Still Needed: ODF will be hosting the Valparaiso Men’s Homeless Shelter every Sunday night from April-October. We are in need of 15 sets of pillows, blankets, 2 flat sheets (any size) & pillow cases. Please donate your spare items and put them in the box located in the back of the Worship Center. If you are interested in how you can volunteer on host nights, please contact Scott or CJ Klockow at 219.363.5927. CC&M: Start your Easter celebration with your brothers and sisters in Christ during Coffee, Cocoa & More next Sunday, and beginning at 9 am! SGLM: On Thursday evening, April 9th, there will be a Small Group Leaders Meeting in the Hebrews Café, beginning at 7 pm. Sin’s Subtle Deceitfulness” Matt. 26:6-16; Hebrews 3:12-14 In honor of one another, please silence your cell phones as we gather together with Jesus in our midst. Thank You! Personal prayer ministry is available after the service, near the podium, by our elders and their wives.
