UITS offers OneDrive cloud storage for Faculty and Staff. OneDrive is automatically available

Google Drive
UITS offers Google Apps for Education for student cloud storage. Students automatically have
access through their Gmail accounts. Faculty and staff may opt-in to use Google Drive for virtual
storage. Access Google Drive at http://g.uconn.edu/
EFS - Enterprise File Services
UITS’s Enterprise File Services is a system designed for secure computer file storage and online file
sharing for faculty and staff. Enterprise File Services has two separate and distinct parts: individual
home directories and departmental file storage. The service is maintained by UITS and is online
24×7.
RNAS - Research Network Attached Storage
UITS offers a scalable data storage facility, known as the Research Network Attached Storage
(RNAS), to support the research activities of faculty at the University of Connecticut. The design and
operating specification for this infrastructure is intended to provide a robust facility that is directly
usable by individual researchers.
